Chef Albino Garcia Jr. began his venture into the culinary arts at a young age, drawing inspiration from some of the greatest chefs of his generation, including Chefs Anthony Bourdain, Sean Brock & Alex Atala. Mentored under the tutelage of many local Chefs, including Chefs Miguel Riojas, Gilbert Ritz, Michael Meza & Joe Ortiz III, Chef Garcia refined his cuisine for over a decade before his promotion to Executive Chef in 2020. Renowned for his love of bold flavors & aromatics, Chef Garcia has sculpted a menu at Trout Street Bar & Grill that infuses the culture of the Coastal Bend with the freshest seafood and ingredients available in South Texas.
